Japanese GPS-augmented navigation satellites on Pacific ocean of Asia called "Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZSS)" will give a new challenge to gain positioning accuracy within shorter time. This is true not only single point positioning, differential positioning, but also precise point positioning (PPP). Similar to GPS PPP, precise orbit and clock of QZSS must be made available for the augmentation analysis.
We are very much looking forward to this new positioning space asset.

GPS Precise Point Positioning (PPP)
There are many more researcher paid attention to PPP. There are many claimed result reached only at a meter level for static positioning. This is very much misleading. This is mainly because PPP should attain centimeters accuracy, not a meter.
